Racing Syndicate

• The syndicate becomes active once 20 members have joined. Membership fees cover the initial purchase cost (if horse is bought rather than leased) and all annual running expenses, whether racing on the Flat or over obstacles (NH).
• If the syndicate is oversubscribed, a waiting list will be maintained for future opportunities, including both Flat and National Hunt syndicates.
• Membership runs from the date of share purchase through to the end of the turf flat racing season, which concludes in early November. Accounts are finalised and closed on 30 November each year.
• If the horse is owned and shows promise, it may remain in training for its three or four-year-old season. If leased, the horse may be sold at the end of the season by the owner.
• The syndicate team manages all racing administration, ensuring smooth operations.
• Members receive regular updates on training progress, race entries, and jockey bookings, along with important, detailed post-race feedback to keep everyone informed and engaged.

Uppingham Thoroughbred Racing III (Colt: Hubris)
Syndicate year 2025-2026 - TO BE LAUNCHED JANUARY 2026

• Provisional cost: £375 on joining, plus £375 per quarter for training and maintenance, starting 1st March 2026.
• Members are welcome to purchase more than one share. Please note that attendance at social events (excluding the annual dinner) will incur additional costs.

The application process to join the syndicate is straight forward:

• First complete an online application form (which will be made available when syndicated are launched) and pay the joining fee to the relevant Wetherbys account. Submit both the application form and the confirmation of payment to Simon Greenly (F 58), who manages the Syndicate's finance and administration. 
• Complete the standing order mandate to the relevant syndicate account held at Weatherbys Bank.
