A Special Celebration of the Girls' Houses
We are delighted to be celebrating significant milestones for Uppingham's girls' Houses throughout this academic year, and warmly invite you to join us for a special reunion on Saturday 20th June at the School.
The day will provide an opportunity to view inside your old House; catch up with staff past and present; tour the main School and explore archive material celebrating girls at Uppingham. A relaxed, informal lunch will be held in the Memorial Hall, and we very much hope you will join us—and encourage your contemporaries to come along too. Partners/families are welcome.
Event Details:
- 10.30am: Arrival and welcome in your House gardens (weather permitting)
- 11.15am: House tours
- 12.00pm: Pre-lunch drinks in the Undercroft
- 1.00pm: Lunch in the Memorial Hall
- 2.30pm: Archive display in the Kendall Room (also available pre-lunch)
- 3.00pm: Tours of the Main School / opportunity to watch cricket, tennis and athletics fixtures
- 4.00pm: Tea/coffee at the School Sports Centre
- 5.00pm: End of organised activities
Dress code: Smart casual
Cost per person:
- Full price ticket: £35.00
- Under 28s: £25.00
- Children under 12: Free
Tickets include welcome tea/coffee on arrival, a buffet lunch with wine and afternoon refreshments. Ticket prices are subsidised by the OU Association.
