New Year Cross Country Run & Dinner
On behalf of Tom Davies, Uppingham’s Head of Cross Country, we are pleased to share an invitation for the annual cross country run and dinner, which will take place on Saturday 10th January at the School.
Departing from the start line at 2.30pm the course will consist of two laps around The Middle (3 miles in total) and, in typical Uppingham fashion, the race will be followed by a celebratory and season-opening dinner in the Kendall Room from 6.30pm.
This is a popular event which offers a great opportunity for OUs to catch up with each other and members of staff - we hope that you will be able to join us.
Event details:
- Venue: Uppingham School
- Cross Country Run: 2.30pm on The Middle (the route is entirely off road and can be muddy, so appropriate running spikes or trial shoes are strongly recommended). For those running, we recommend arrival by 2.15pm at the latest.
- Dinner: From 6.30pm in The Kendall Room
- Cost: £25pp (to include a two-course dinner with wine)
- Dress code for dinner: Smart Casual

Due to the timing of this event, shortly after term resumes in the New Year, we will be unable to accommodate late bookings (after 1st January) due to advance catering requirements.
