Valiant Hearts – The Story of the Uppingham School V.C.s, by Mike Garrs (F 63), tells the incredible stories of five ‘Sons of Uppingham’ who were awarded their country’s highest military decoration: The Victoria Cross. Mike’s book tells of their bravery and provides details on their lives before, during and after Uppingham.
The cost is £11.95, including postage and packing, with all proceeds shared equally between The Royal British Legion and Uppingham Foundation.
