Friends of Uppingham


We are pleased to share some inspiring and thought-provoking reports from young OUs who volunteered for gap year programmes after leaving Uppingham.

Zara Tweed (J 14) went to Nepal, initially working for Chitwan Medical College, Bharatpur, and then to Annapurna Conservation Area Project, Grace Gregory (Fd 14) enjoyed teaching Maths and English to pupils in The Gambia, West Africa through the Crosslinks Charity and Kitty Scott Barber (NH 14) and Lily Spurrier (Sa 14) both volunteered to teach at Gairatpur Bass Panchayat School in India.
