What a glorious day for a wedding, we are only sorry we weren't invited. Congratulations to the dashing groom James Matthews (M 88) and his wife Pippa Middleton,who looked absolutely stunning in her wedding gown. The couple offically said their "I do's" on 20th May 2017 at St Mark's Church in Englefield, England.

Julia née Reeves (L 04) and Edward Minton (SH 00) were married
Julia and Ed were married in Tokyo (Ed's home) in December 2014 at the New Otani Hotel. They had an English wedding celebration on December 27th and a traditional Japanese wedding the next day, finally followed by celebrations in London on January 24th 2015.

Nicholas Coupe (LH 99) married Anna Field in September 2014, Byron Fitzpatrick (LH 96) gave a reading and Charles Robertshaw (LH 99) also attended the ceremony.
Glyn Richards (B 95) married Laura Rowland
On 13th September 2014 Glyn Richards (B 95) married Laura Rowland at Kelmash Hall in Northamptonshire. They celebrated with a civil ceremony for 80 of their closest family and friends some of whom had travelled from India and the US. Glyn’s brother, Alan Richards (B 97) was his best man and Stephen Pitchers (WD 66) also attended the ceremony, who happens to be a dear friend of Glyn’s in-laws.

Lucy Boyd (Fd 95) married Mathew Whittles at Crantoun Church, followed by a reception at Oxenfoord Castle near Edinburgh. Her brother Robin Boyd (B 95) was an usher. Also in attendance was her mother, Pat Boyd who was Highfield House Matron from 2001-2011. Lucy and Mathew are happily living in Galashiels where they run a graphic design business.

Farid Bakri (WB 96) married Malinda on Waiheke Island in New Zealand. The MC of the evening was none other than James Mantle (WB 96) - aka Humphrey - who is also living in Sydney and apparently a big admirer of Malinda's lemon meringue pies! His brother Karim (Hf 91) was best-man whilst Rashed and Ziad (both Hf 93) were his groomsmen. Farid’s sister, Sophie Bakri (Fd 91), delivered a beautiful reading by Khalil Gibran.
Lucy Hall (J 05) announces her engagement to Thomas Road in the October issue of Country Life.
"Lucy, 25, only daughter of Mr and Mrs Mervyn Hall of Aldeburgh, Suffolk, is engaged to be married to Thomas Road, only son of Mr and Mrs Christopher Road of Putney, London. They will be married at St Peter and St Paul's Church, Aldeburgh, on June 6 next year. Educated at Uppingham School, Rutland, and with a Masters in History of Art from the University of Edinburgh, Lucy who now works as a bespoke fine-jewellery designer, is also studying to become a gemmologist at the Gemmological Associated of Great Britain."
